Pheobe Lynn Booe made her arrival last night at 727p! She was 19” long and 5lbs 15oz. Dark hair and dark eyes like her big sis. We hadn’t really made a public announcement, but Sarah Beth was diagnosed with Cholestasis of Pregnancy in January which, with treatment, close monitoring and an early delivery, kept her and baby healthy. She was induced yesterday at 37 weeks, and that made for some potential struggles for Phoebe. A couple hours after a wonderful delivery, Phoebe started showing signs of respiratory distress that worsened throughout the night. After our awesome hospital staff and a stellar transport team stabilized and prepared Pheebs, she headed off to Research Medical Center in KC so we can make sure everything possible is being done to help her to thrive. Sarah Beth has been discharged and we’re in KC now. Anna is at daycare like normal, and her Grammy (Sarah Beth’s mom) has been staying at our house to be with her and keep her schedule close to normal. Grandpa (Sarah Beth’s dad) flew in Tuesday and they will all have some more special time together while we’re in KC with little sis. Thanks for the support and prayers!
