I am starting this fundraiser for the Pender family. I am sure most of you are aware by now that Micah was in the last phase of her chemotherapy when she became a respiratory therapist with our company.

She finished her chemo treatments and got to ring the bell for beating her cancer.

Since then, she had to go back for scans to make sure that everything was still going okay, and they discovered the cancer in a different spot. Stage 4 bone cancer in her leg.

She has started taking her chemo meds, which make her very sick. Monday, she will start aggressive radiation every day for up to three weeks.

Her treatments will be in Searcy, which is a little over an hour from her home. That will be driving two hours each day. She will have to find someone to take her back and forth, as she will be very ill and not able to drive back.

This will be very costly, especially since she will not be able to work. Some of those days her husband will have to take off of work to take her.

Jonesboro office is trying to raise enough money to help her out with gas and other expenses.

She appreciates us doing this, at least we can ease her mind up a little with whatever we can give to help.
