Mic Up The Man In The Moon!

At The Man In The Moon we believe in giving everyone the opportunity to shine. Over the past three decades, our productions and drama workshops have helped them to do just that.
We want to take our members performances to the next level by investing in high-quality radio microphones.
These microphones will not only amplify their voices but also boost their confidence to perform their best. They will be used for all of our performances, starting with our upcoming Christmas show The One Hundred and One Dalmatians at BUZZ Studio Theatre in Woking.
Why are radio microphones so important?
- Clarity: With radio mics, every word, every emotion will be crystal clear. Your support will ensure that our young actors are heard and appreciated.
- Freedom: Wireless microphones will allow our performers to move freely on stage, bringing an new dimension to their storytelling.
- Professionalism: By providing our cast members with top-notch equipment, we are not only boosting their self-esteem but also preparing them for the professional world of theatre.

What makes The Man In The Moon so unique?
Our workshops and day camps are designed to be original, creative, inclusive, exhilarating and budget-friendly. Children have the chance to forge new friendships, work as part of a team, aid their focus and build social and communication skills.
They serve as a fantastic avenue for expanding their imagination, creating self-confidence and enabling children to recognise their full potential. We believe that drama should be accessible to everyone, not just the chosen few.

Our workshops and productions receive glowing feedback. Parents often tell us that they love the way their children are encouraged to be creative and express themselves in a fun and safe family-like setting, which helps them to cope with the pressures of growing up in today’s world.
A careful blend of secure environment, combined with challenge and structure allows for freedom and enhances the emotional well-being of our members.

Why do we need YOUR help?
But here's the truth: we could not achieve any of this without the support of our friends. With the increasing financial uncertainty in the UK, rising costs and the ongoing challenges faced by small businesses, it is more crucial than ever to ensure that our workshops remain both affordable and easily accessible.
Your donation, no matter the size, will contribute directly to the success of our young actors. All money raised will go towards purchasing and maintaining these essential radio microphones.
