Hi, my name is Mia, and I’m incredibly proud to share that I’ve been selected to represent Team England Kickboxing (WKU) at the World Championships in Abu Dhabi this August.

Kickboxing has been part of my life since 2016. What started as a passion quickly became a goal, and over the years it has taught me discipline, resilience, and belief in myself. There have been long training sessions, tough competitions, and plenty of challenges along the way.... and lots of blood ! — but I’ve never stopped working toward this dream.

After achieving my black belt in 2024, being selected for Team England feels like a huge milestone and the next step at elite level. Representing my country on the world stage would be the greatest honour of my sporting journey so far.

Unfortunately, events at this level are fully self-funded, meaning athletes must cover all costs themselves. I’m aiming to raise £4,500 to help cover flights, accommodation, competition fees, kit, and training expenses so I can take part in this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
