Mia's Road To Recovery
Donation protected
On Saturday Sept. 2nd, young Firefighter, Mia Natalia Gonzalez, was on her way to hike with her cousin at Sequoia National Forest. After parking their car and walking on the side of a road near Three Rivers to their hiking/swimming adventure, Mia lost footing and fell a total of 50ft down a steep mountain side. She then had to be airlifted to Fresno Community Hospital's Trauma ICU by CHP. The damages due to the fall left her paralyzed from the waist down. On Sunday September 3rd, Mia had surgery putting several (5) screws down her spine but due to nerve damage she still has no feeling or motor skills from belly button down. Mia has to spend the next month in the hospital while being closely monitored by nurses. The funds that you donate will go towards the medical bills and any daily essentials needed for Mia. If you are not able to donate, we fully understand times may be hard but if you can please share, this will be highly appreciated. #Ladder
