Mia's Little Athletics journey to New Zealand

Mia is a dedicated 13-year-old athlete from Dunolly/Maryborough, whose love for athletics began in 2017 as an under 6. Her passion for jumping—both vertically and horizontally—as well as sprinting, has driven her growth in the sport.

In January 2025, Mia has a fantastic opportunity to travel to New Zealand as part of the Little Athletics Victoria development team. 38 athletes from various little athletics centres are selected to travel to New Zealand and compete at the Colgate Games in the Northern Islands. This experience is not only valuable for Mia’s athletic journey but also comes with some large costs.

Mia has been a dedicated member of Maryborough Little Athletics and Athletics has provided her with some very exciting experiences from competing at a state level on numerous occasions and even travelling to Adelaide to compete at a National level representing Victoria. We would love to continue to encourage Mia with her athletics journey. Any donations to support Mia in this incredible opportunity would be greatly appreciated by her and her family.
