Mia's Dental Emergency: Your Help Matters
Donation protected
Hello,
My name is April and My daughter's name is Mia; she is 9 years old and is level 3 nonverbal Autistic. Due to an unfortunate incident with a doctor choking Mia when she was only 2 years old, Mia is TERRIFIED of doctors and dentist offices. Mia has a hole in her tooth that has needed attention but due to Mias inability to be seen by a dentist it has now escalated from a hole in the tooth to now an abscess/Infection on the gum she needs to be seen, get x-rays and be sedated for a tooth extraction ASAP before this becomes a risk to her health. I have to pay for all of this out of pocket and it's going to really put me in a hard situation financially. I have to pay for the first visit, the initial extraction, the sedation for 3 hours due to her having to be sedated for all work including x rays and the follow up appointment. It will run me 2000-2500$ They can only give me a ballpark estimate because they won't know the full extent of what needs to be done until they do the x-rays. I know times are hard for all of us, I've stayed up for days stressing about this and her healthy being at risk ANYTHING HELPS, and EVERY PENNY is so appreciated.
