Funeral for Mia

Donation protected
Mia Rose was a vibrant and beautiful soul. She was kind, soft, gentle, and innocent in every way, and to every person she encountered. Her smile was contagious, leaving even complete strangers feeling joy after something as simple as giving them a smile in the line at the grocery store. It was impossible to not love her if you were blessed to have a conversation with her. Her purity and sweet intentions were felt by everyone around her. Since birth, Mia has endured cardiac complications. She underwent 7 surgeries in her little life, many of them open-heart; ultimately living with a pacemaker operating her heart full time. This never wavered her precious spirit; she took all of her medications willingly and took every step in stride, even spending her first birthday in ICU. Mia confidently pushed through life, doing as many things a normal child would do that she possibly could. She loved Unicorns and Mavy Wavy, she loved riding her bike and fishing, she loved riding horses and leading them around by herself, and most of all, she loved swimming. Mia was living her final day to the fullest- they went for Mc Donald’s and Luigi’s pizza, and then were enjoying her absolute favorite activity of swimming. Mia was having the time of her life showing off her swimming skills to her newly made friends Kim and Eric (total strangers at the pool- she just made friends everywhere she went) when she pulled herself out of the water and collapsed. Rosemary extends the sincerest of gratitude to Eric for performing CPR and keeping Mia in pulses until the ambulance arrived. The entire close-knit family is devastated by this sudden and unexpected loss and are heartbroken as they await answers. Rosemary, a single mother, has worked incredibly hard over the years to provide Mia with the happiest life she possibly could have, and they are all hurting emotionally and financially during these times. Any donation, even $5, will help alleviate the financial burden of planning a funeral for this beautiful child. The family appreciates every sentiment, even just words. No one should have to suffer the loss of a child. Mia Rose, gone too soon. Fly high little angel.
