Help Mianna Pay For College

Hello, my name is Mianna Alexander. I am currently a senior at 21st Century Charter School @ Gary. I have a long history of working hard and doing well in school. In addition to maintaining a +3.0 GPA, I also played junior & varsity volleyball, was a lead dancer on the school's Cougarette Dance Team, a member of the Americorp Volunteers of America program, a Peer Leader with the College Summit program, a member of the National Society for High School Scholars, in addition to working various part-time jobs throughout my entire  high school attendance. Now that you know a little information about me, let's get to the purpose of my campaign. Penn State University has accepted me into their Forensic Science program for Fall 2015. Unfortunately the university's out-of-state cost of attendance is too high to be fully paid by my mother's single parent income and the very limited financial assistance the university is offering. Facing such a monumental educational debt brings me to this endeavor of requesting donations from generous and caring individuals (like you) to assist me in raising funding to pursue my educational and life long dreams. I thank you in advance for any contribution you give that will help me pay for college and achieve my BS Degree in Forensic Science at Penn State University.
