Help me attend Miami Music Festival

Dear Friends and Family,
I am pleased to tell you I have been invited to attend the Miami Music Festival this June, where I will have the opportunity to perform and study with acclaimed faculty and concert artists Yohaved Kaplinsky (Chair of Piano Department, Juilliard), Anton Nel (Endowed Chair, University of Texas at Austin) and Di Wu (International Soloist), among others. The piano institute runs June 6-26, and I consider it highly important for me to go as I am making my Chicago debut with the Dame Myra Hess Memorial Concerts on June 29th. Having the chance to fine tune my recital program in a professional setting will be instrumental to my success in Chicago and beyond.
In addition to helping me prepare for my Chicago recital, attending this festival will also give me the chance to test my Tchaikovsky Piano Concerto in the concerto competition, where (if I win), I'll be able to perform with orchestra in Miami. I am currently preparing the Tchaikovsky Concerto for my debut with the Lake Union Civic Orchestra in Seattle in 2017.
I am trying to raise $5,000 dollars to make sure I have enough money to attend the festival and to get around the US and Canada immediately before and after.
March 1st - $250 registration fee is due
April 1st - $1,000 tuition fee is due
May 1st - $1,000 tuition fee is due and fees for meal plan and housing
The additional funds I am asking will help with airfare and any unforeseen costs associated with my summer. I am putting in applications to other festivals and competitions, so reserve funds will go towards that and any additional training I may need.
I am hesitant to ask my family and friends for money, but the simple fact is that I can't afford to make this goal without some help right now. I recently moved to Montreal, and am making progress in getting freelance musician work lined up, but I have serious doubts as to whether I'll be able to earn enough income before the start of the festival. I take this opportunity very seriously, and if you help me along I will be extremely grateful!
