Miami United 2022 Winter Season 17 Hybrid

Hello! My name is Benjamin Seth Abella. I’m a Junior in high school, and I play volleyball on my team, 17Hybrid, as part of the Miami United Volleyball Club. And, when I’m not playing volleyball, I’m typically studying or working at my job of three years at Chick-Fil-a.

A few weeks ago, I was invited to be part of the volleyball winter club season at Miami United, an honor that I’m very thankful for. Playing for Miami United helps me continue to improve my volleyball skills by allowing me to play with some of the best players in my city while also allowing me to get exposure to college scouts. Being part of this team also means that I get to go to the ChiTown Boys Tournament in Chicago, IL and play against club teams from all over the nation.

I’m very thankful for this opportunity and also for having a job, but while also balancing school and volleyball, I’m unable to work enough to cover all the expenses required for this winter season. This is why I am looking for supporters who can help me reach my goal of $1600, so I can continue to play with Miami United. This covers the costs of registration, uniforms, equipment, and travel expenses.
