Pharma Phriends is a fun group of industry professionals, who enjoy giving back and paying it forward.
During the COVID19 Pandemic Quarantine, we find ourselves wanting to make a difference, give back, and support our local healthcare providers and front line responders.
The goal of our campaign is to raise funds to provide each shift, in each Emergency Department in Miami-Dade County, a day of delicious meals.
We would love to accomplish this goal in the next 7 days and start sending food as soon as possible, as the number of those infected in Miami-Dade continues to rise, and the county is ordered to stay home.
To accomplish our goal, along with your kind and generous donations, we will utilize another group who has been hit hard by this pandemic - local restaurants and caterers with the ability to deliver.
Please consider how you might be able to help us meet our goal. Your support would mean so much to our local healthcare providers who are staying at work so we can stay home and stay safe. Many of these providers are our family members, friends, and former colleagues, who would truly benefit from your kindness in this stressful time.

❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ **Additional info needed for withdrawal of funds** We have chosen to spend the funds we have collected on feeding and supporting direct patient care health care providers in emergency departments, ICU’s and other units affected by the COVID-19 crisis in the Miami, FL area. We will do this by providing enough meals for all staff in a 24 hour period, at each unit we support. In addition to the food we will also cover the delivery fee, and any packaging needed to make sure the food is served safely to our frontline workers. I plan to withdraw the funds directly to my checking account and use them to pay the local business owners and caterers that we are utilizing, along with reimbursing myself, Frank Gaviria and Gloriana Diaz who are also working directly with the local restaurants and caterers.
