Miami Memorial Tree or Bench for Matt Myers

I think it would be nice to donate a memorial tree or a memorial bench at Miami University for Matt. For me (and I am sure a lot of others), I can't think of Miami without thinking of Matt. It's where we first met, and it's where we made countless memories. I think it would be really wonderful to honor him by donating either a tree or a bench in his name, with a memorial plaque.

I looked into pricing, and the website says that a tree has a price of $2,500 and a bench has a starting price of $5,000. I was thinking that we could do either one, depending on how many people want to contribute.

For placement, I was thinking by Morris Hall since that's where many of us met Matt. But we could also do something along Slant Walk or in front of Shriver.. I am completely open to other suggestions for locations - all of Miami reminds me of Matt. (Note: once we have an idea I will need to reach out to the Miami coordinator to see if there is a spot available)
