MIAMI MASK PROJECT
We are a group of moms, teachers, students, and friends who decided to start sewing homemade masks while in quarantine. Together, we have sewed and donated over 1,500 masks to local hospitals, senior facilities, police departments, Miami Dade Animal Services, and various local healthcare workers.
We've begun selling our masks to the general public for $5, but this page exists solely to collect donations: 100% percent of the proceeds from this page and our sales will go directly to Miami-based COVID relief funds.

Thank you to everyone who has donated and shared our campaign over the past few days. Thanks to you, we were able to donate $1,000 to Third Wave Volunteers, a Miami based crisis-relief organization providing PPE to COVID frontline workers.
We are completely shocked that we reached our fundraising goal so quickly, but we’re not finished yet!
We’ve decided to continue fundraising for Miami-based relief funds, beginning with the University of Miami’s COVID relief fund. Thank you for being a hero!

It's been a privilege to serve our community and aid frontline workers. Thank you a million times to everyone who donated, provided supplies, or offered words of encouragement and support. We are blown away by the amount of generosity and compassion we've been shown over the past few weeks!
