We are Miami Hype Elite, a group of dedicated volleyball players from Miami coming together to compete in the USA Volleyball Adult Open in Orlando from May 21-25, 2026. This opportunity means more to us than just another tournament. Most of us are former collegiate or professional athletes, and when that chapter of our lives ended, we were all looking for a way to keep competing and stay connected to the sport we love. This team became that space for us. It’s more than just playing, it gives us a sense of community, purpose, and something to keep pushing toward. Coming together again as a team has been really special, and it reminds us why we fell in love with volleyball in the first place.

The USA Volleyball Adult Open gives us the chance to compete at a high level again, represent Miami, and challenge ourselves against top teams from across the country. It’s an opportunity to prove that just because one chapter ended doesn’t mean our competitive drive did. To make this possible, we are raising funds to help cover the main expenses: tournament registration, lodging, food, travel, and other team-related costs. We are also doing everything we can on our end but we can’t do it alone.
