Hi everyone,
As some of you know I had set a goal to compete in Miami at Fitness Universe this past June however after my show in April I decided I was not ready to step on a national stage just yet. This has always been a dream of mine--to be on stage with some of the most beautiful women and athletes out there. I promised myself I would bring my best package to the stage and I would know when I was ready and the timing was right.
I am just about 2 weeks post show from my competition in Atlantic City, NJ where I took 1st place in the Bikini Short division and 3rd place in the Model division. In my three years of competing, my coach Janelle said I have never looked better and the work I had put in from April until now, had paid off. I stepped on stage with my best physique in three years! I have never felt stronger or more motivated to continue my journey and I am eager to stand on stage proud of the gains I have made.
I have finally taken the plunge and committed to competing in Fitness America this November in Las Vegas!! I will be competing in the highly competitive Bikini Division where my goal is to place in the Top 10! I am beyond excited to get back on stage this year at a national show where I will be challenged at a new level.
Although I would love to be able to do this independently, it is not financially possible for me at this time. As many competitors know, the cost of competing does not come cheap. From the dazzling suits, costumes and evening gowns, to the registration fees, travel & flights, hotel accomodations, tanning, hair & make-up services...it all adds up rather quickly.
I have been extremely fortunate and lucky to have competed in numerous shows since starting my journey back in 2010 however I am now reaching out for the support of others to assist me in making my dreams come true. Any contribution that you are able to make in supporting my journey to Fitness America this season would be instrumental in helping me achieve my goals.
To my family & friends- many of you have already played a huge part in this process with me since I made the decision to jump into this sport 3 years ago. I cannot thank you enough for your endless love, support and encouragement each time around and for sticking by my side through all the ups and downs! I love you guys and can't wait to see what the rest of this year brings. Thank you to everyone who has contributed :)
