Hello, Everyone

This is the Kilgore family, and we are trying to raise funds for the final expenses of Mia Kilgore. She passed away on Easter Sunday, April 17th, 2022. Mia was a lifelong resident of Havre de Grace. She was a former EMT, Firefighter and Police Dispatcher. She worked at the Havre de Grace Police Department for nearly 25 years before losing her job due to illness. Mia is well known around Havre de Grace for helping others in the community. Mia did numerous fundraising projects, she purchased school supplies for students in need, bought and delivered food during Thanksgiving and Christmas and provided toys for children at Christmas. Mia was a devoted Orioles and Ravens fan. She enjoyed going to baseball games with her son Jacob. She always supported Jacob in all his efforts. She was not only a mother to Jacob, but she was also a mother to Jacob’s friends, as she welcomed everyone.

After nearly 25 years, Mia lost her job with the Havre de Grace Police Department. She lost her life insurance in the process. Her son, Jacob, needs your help since they had no savings due to her illness. 

Mia’s final wishes were to be cremated with no funeral services. Any help that you can provide is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
