Mia Femi Medical & Recovery Costs

On the morning of January 18th, Maria Sokolova (Aka Mia Femi) and her husband were attacked by three thugs with blades. They slashed Mia across her face from the corner of her eye down to her lips just missing her temple. It left her with a severe five inch laceration on her left cheek.

The couple was rushed to New York Presbyterian hospital where they both underwent lengthy procedures. Mia received 50 stitches on her face. Her husband also suffered multiple deep lacerations to his left hand. He was taken to the operating room for a three-hour surgery for nerve damage repair.

The newlyweds do not have insurance coverage for this vicious attack. They are both unable to work and are about to incur massive emergency room and hospital bills.
