Hi! My name is Mia Flores and I am currently in 8th grade attending Joyce Clark Middle School in Sierra Vista, AZ. I am a member of Student Council for the second year in a row and I plan to continue my journey with Student Council throughout my upcoming High School years. I am also a part of a travel softball team. My hobbies are playing sports with my friends and siblings, I love to cook and bake as well. I was given a once in a lifetime opportunity to travel to Washington D.C. in May 2026. This trip would benefit me by offering opportunities to learn about U.S. history and the government through free museums and monuments. There are 4 days total which I will visit memorials such as the Jefferson Memorial, Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial, Lincoln Memorial and lots of other neat places. In addition to all of the fun days ahead of me, I can also receive academic credit. Any donation would be greatly appreciated! Thank you for taking the time to ready my story.
