Mia Netball Tour 2025 - Sri Lanka

Hi everyone

I hope this message finds you well. We are reaching out to you today with an exciting opportunity for Mia. She has been invited to represent her netball association on a Netball tour to Sri Lanka from 30 September to 11 October 2025, the tour will consist of 5 games.

This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for her to not only showcase her netball skills on an international stage but also to experience a new culture, make lifelong friends and grow both as an athlete and as an individual. However Mia need's your support to make this a reality.

The cost of the tour includes travel, accommodation, training and other expenses totaling $3,500.

Tour Itinerary is below and looks like it is going to be a wonderful experience for her and her team mates.

DAY 1: 30 SEP 2025: AIRPORT – WASKADUWA - Overnight stay at Citruss Waskaduwa

DAY 2: 01 OCT 2025: WASKADUWA – BANDARAGAMA - WASKADUWA - Visit to Agro Park in Bandaragama. This visit will consist a visit to a big farm and followed by a nice traditional Sri Lankan Lunch.

DAY 3: 02 OCT 2025: WASKADUWA – BANDARAGAMA - WASKADUWA - Travel to Bandaragama

Indoor Court complex to take part in your 1st Netball match

DAY 4: 03 OCT 2025: WASKADUWA – GALLE - WASKADUWA - visit the Galle Dutch Fort. On arrival you will commence a guided tour of the Galle fort.

DAY 5: 04 OCT 2025: WASKADUWA – PIDURANGALA – HABARANA - Travel to Sigiriya. Vist en-route the Pidurangala Rock.

Adventure out and do the small hike up the rock and enjoy a nice sunset with the backdrop of the Sigiriya Rock

DAY 6: 05 OCT 2025: HABARANA - SIGIRIYA – MINNERIYA – HABARANA - visit the Sigiriya Rock Fortress which is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

DAY 7: 06 OCT 2025: HABARANA – KURUNEGALA - KANDY -travel to Kurunegala to take part in 2nd Match played at the Boyaganne Army Camp Indoor complex

DAY 8: 07 OCT 2025: KANDY – DIGANA - KANDY -Travel to the Digana Indoor complex to play your scheduled 3rd Match

DAY 9: 08 OCT 2025: KANDY – PINNAWALA - COLOMBO - travel to commence a guided city tour of Kandy and Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage

DAY 10: 09 OCT 2025: COLOMBO - Travel to play 4th Match to be played at a venue in Colombo

DAY 11: 10 OCT 2025: COLOMBO - Travel to play 5th Match to be played at a venue in Colombo

DAY 12: 11 OCT 2025: COLOMBO – AIRPORT - Home time
