Hello friends, as some of you may know, one year ago I adopted Mia & her kitten Farrow through Luxe Paws Cat Rescue. As much as I "saved" them - they saved me too. They are my angels and best friends - we have become a family and I love them both with all my heart.
Sadly, a few months ago Mia started to display signs of lethargy and after many tests she was diagnosed with a FUNGAL INFECTION called Cryptococcus. We have tried everything to stave off the infection but it has become systemic and she weighs in at just 4 pounds. She is not responding to medication.
EMERGENCY treatment is required NOW to save her life. After much thought, I have brought her to Metropolitan Animal Hospital in West Hollywood where her only hope is an aggressive form of treatment. She deserves a chance to beat this horrible disease that has taken over her little body. Despite being in pain and unable to function as the happy kitty she once was - she is still loving, patient and kind.
I'm reaching out today to ask for your assistance. Anything, even $5, will help. Donations of $150 or more will receive an 11"x14" print from my recent exhibit THE VIEWING.
Thank you,
Nedda
