Mia Isabella's Recovery Fund
Donation protected

Hello!
My name is Mia and I was born on April 13, 2017. Unfortunately, I was born very sick with many different health issues and have been in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) at Saint Barnabas Medical Center where I was born and now in the NICU at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia where I was transferred in May. I was diagnosed with Bicuspid Aortic Valve Disease (BAVD), Laryngomalacia, Choanal Atresia, and Gastroesophageal Reflux. These conditions make it difficult for me to breathe on my own or drink from a bottle. I am currently on a ventilator (Breathing Tube), a feeding tube and a heart monitor. I am going to be getting a tracheotomy surgery along with G-tube surgery, both of which will be happening very soon. Afterward, I will be recovering in the NICU for 2-3 months following my two surgeries. When I am able to go home, I will need 24 hour nursing care. Then once I am a little older I have to come back for heart surgery. All of the surgeries and special care for my health is extremely expensive.
Your donations are greatly appreciated so when I go home after all of this, I can just be a baby, and enjoy being with my Mommy and Daddy and the rest of my loving family!
Please share this with everyone you know.
