MIA - help with foster care and medical bills

Welcome to Tesa's Rescue, beautiful Mia!

This gorgeous 7 year old calico joined us only a few days ago, due to personal reasons her owners needed to relinquish her and did the right thing approaching a rescue like ours who could help rehome Mia responsibly. Thankfully, one of our foster cats had just been adopted, this meant there was a foster placement available for little Mia ❤️

At the moment, she's very confused, it is clear she wants love but hisses, lashes out and scratches when gentle attention is offered, so this is work in progress, hopefully Mia will learn to relax around people and understand that there's no pressure for her to interact. She's eating well, using the litterbox and just exploring her new environment. The calming plug-in seems to have a positive effect on her ❤️

This is why foster homes are so important - there's no rush when it comes to socialising these wonderful souls and we have all the patience in the world for them. Mia may stay with her foster family for as long as needed ❤️
