Chris Thompson

Mia and Tyler, our family, friends, and the gymnastics community lost Chris Thompson in a fatal car accident on the morning of December 23, 2020.

My brother loved the people in his life with the deepest parts of his heart. Mia and Tyler were his everything. Even as a little boy, when asked what he wanted to be when he grew up, Chris said, “A daddy.” Not only did he become a dad to his own children, he coached and mentored hundreds, if not thousands, of gymnasts as they grew up. Chris had a way with kids whether they be own, his gym kids, or his nieces and nephews. He will be missed by his children, parents, family, and friends and remembered as as man who mattered. 

All contributions will be set aside to help Mia and Tyler with college or other future endeavors. Please keep Chris’ legacy strong by sharing the good memories, saying his name, loving hard, and passing forward what he taught each of us along the way.
