Mis hermanos Alejandra Bozo, Julio Bozo y Javier Bozo Hoy recurrimos a ustedes con el alma en las manos. Nuestro querido padre, Julio Bozo, un hombre trabajador, amoroso y abuelo dedicado, está luchando por su vida.

A sus 72 años, enfrenta una cardiopatía mixta, con antecedentes de un infarto silencioso, diabetes y falla renal grado III

Inicialmente, el medico indico que necesitaba realizar de urgencia un cateterismo y logramos reunir $8,000 para el mismo, pero los médicos determinaron que su condición es mucho más grave de lo esperado y no se pudo continuar con el procedimiento.

Tras una evaluación más profunda, el diagnóstico es enfermedad arterial coronaria obstructiva significativa de tronco principal y tres vasos principales (confirmado por la coronariografía). La única opción para salvar su vida es una cirugía de bypass coronario, cuyo costo oscila entre $25,000 y $30,000, una cantidad inalcanzable para nuestra familia en este momento.

Nuestra situación es difícil: nuestro hermano Javier Bozo cuida a nuestro padre en Venezuela, mientras que mis otros dos hermanos Julio y Alejandra y yo estamos en Estados Unidos. No tenemos documentos para viajar ni los recursos suficientes para cubrir los costos médicos en un país donde el acceso a la salud es cada vez más limitado.

Es desgarrador saber que la vida de nuestro padre depende de un sistema de salud inaccesible para la mayoría.

Es por esta razon que pedimos su ayuda. Cualquier donación, por pequeña que sea, nos acerca a salvar su vida. También seria de muchisima ayuda que puedan compartir esta campaña para llegar a más personas que puedan apoyarnos.

Help Julio Bozo: He Needs Urgent Heart Surgery

Hello, my name is Yulimar Bozo, and together with my siblings Alejandra Bozo, Julio Bozo, and Javier Bozo, we reach out to you with our hearts in our hands.

Our beloved father, Julio Bozo, a hardworking, loving man and devoted grandfather, is fighting for his life.

At 72 years old, he is battling mixed cardiopathy, with a history of a silent heart attack, diabetes, and stage III kidney failure.

Initially, doctors advised that he urgently needed a catheterization, and we managed to raise $8,000 for the procedure. However, once they began, they discovered that his condition was far more severe than expected and could not proceed with the intervention.

After further evaluation, he was diagnosed with severe coronary artery disease affecting the main trunk and three major vessels. The only option to save his life is coronary bypass surgery, which costs between $25,000 and $30,000—an amount our family simply cannot afford.

Our situation is extremely difficult: our brother Javier Bozo is caring for our father in Venezuela, while my other two siblings, Julio and Alejandra, and I are in the United States. We do not have the legal documentation to travel or the financial means to cover the medical expenses in a country where access to healthcare is increasingly limited.

It is heartbreaking to know that our father’s life depends on a healthcare system that is out of reach for most people.
