Quiero compartirles algo de mi historia, actualmente tengo 35 años, hace 16 años fui diagnosticada con diabetes tipo 1, todo marchaba bien; hace 4 años fui diagnosticada con cáncer de mamá triple negativo en tercera etapa, después de 8 ciclos de quimioterapia, cirugía y 15 radiaciones concluí el tratamiento. Hace poco más de un mes, comencé con dolores de cabeza muy fuertes que me hacían vomitar sin razón aparente pues mi glucosa y presión arterial estaban bien, después de 3 semanas viviendo así, se me realizó un resonancia magnética con contraste y el resultado fue un tumor Schwannoma vestibular izquierdo, el único tratamiento es la cirugía, la cual es de alto riesgo por encontrarse pegado al tallo cerebral, principalmente se encuentran comprometidos los nervios del oído izquierdo y los nervios del rostro incluidos los del ojo.

Los costos médicos son muy altos y lamentablemente, no puedo cubrir todo por mi cuenta. Es por eso que estoy pidiendo ayuda: cualquier aporte, por pequeño que sea, hace una gran diferencia.

Hi, I'm Lore. I want to share a little of my story. I'm currently 35 years old. 16 years ago, I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes, and everything was going well. 4 years ago, I was diagnosed with stage 3 triple-negative breast cancer. After 8 cycles of chemotherapy, surgery, and 15 radiation treatments, I completed treatment. A little over a month ago, I started experiencing severe headaches that made me vomit for no apparent reason, as my glucose and blood pressure were normal. After 3 weeks of living like this, I had an MRI with contrast, and the result was a left vestibular Schwannoma tumor. The only treatment is surgery, which is high-risk because it's attached to the brainstem. It primarily affects the nerves in my left ear and the facial nerves, including those in my eyes.

Medical costs are very high, and unfortunately, I can't cover everything on my own. That's why I'm asking for help: any contribution, no matter how small, makes a big difference.
