Our mother needs your help

Dear family and friends,Our family is pleading for your help during this difficult time. Our mother, Maria Quintero, or Mami Cristina to her grandchildren and great grandchildren, is facing a critical situation. My mother, Maria, is a resilient 90-year-old woman living in our hometown in Honduras. My mother single handedly raised her 8 children and her grandchildren when we came to the United States to provide a better future for our children. Now it’s our turn to help her. Mamita has battled numerous health challenges and with a smile on her face and door open to all, but with limited access to affordable and quality healthcare, the cost of her medications required to manage her conditions and health have escalated significantly and has become increasingly difficult for our family.Despite our best and united efforts, we are in a state of desperation and time is running out. We fear for my mother's well-being, as her condition worsens each day without the necessary treatments, we need your help improving her quality of life and associated medical costs. Mi madre, María, es una mujer resistente de 90 años que vive en nuestra ciudad natal en Honduras. Mi madre crió sola a sus 8 hijos y sus nietos cuando vinimos a los Estados Unidos para brindarles un mejor futuro a nuestros hijos. Ahora es nuestro turno de ayudarla. Mamita ha luchado contra numerosos desafíos de salud y con una sonrisa en su rostro y la puerta abierta para todos, pero con acceso limitado a atención médica asequible y de calidad, el costo de sus medicamentos necesarios para controlar sus condiciones y su salud ha aumentado significativamente y se ha vuelto cada vez más difícil para ella. El costo de los medicamentos se ha disparado significativamente en los últimos tiempos, dejándonos en un estado de desesperación. A pesar de nuestros mejores y unidos esfuerzos, estamos en un estado de desesperación y el tiempo se acaba. Tememos por el bienestar de mi madre, ya que su condición empeora cada día sin los tratamientos necesarios, necesitamos su ayuda para mejorar su calidad de vida y los costos médicos asociados.
