Hola, mi nombre es Abril y les quiero contar sobre mi mamá, una mujer fuerte y valiente que hoy enfrenta la batalla más difícil de su vida.

Hace un tiempo le diagnosticaron cáncer de estómago. Le retiraron el estómago por completo, pero el cáncer avanzó hacia otros órganos. A pesar de todo, ella me dijo una frase que nunca olvidaré:

“Quiero hacer algo loco… vivir.”

Mi mamá no puede trabajar y hoy depende completamente de los cuidados y de tratamientos médicos que son muy costosos. Los hospitales públicos no nos están ofreciendo la atención especializada que ella necesita, y los gastos de hospital, medicamentos y alimentación especial superan lo que yo sola puedo cubrir.

Yo emigré para trabajar y he hecho todo lo posible por sostenerla, pero ya no me es posible sola. Por eso recurro a esta campaña: necesitamos 7,000 dólares para cubrir sus gastos médicos inmediatos y darle la oportunidad de seguir luchando con dignidad.

Cualquier ayuda, incluso 1 dólar, significa un paso más hacia la meta. Si 7000 personas donan un poquito, juntos podremos lograrlo.

Hello, my name is Abril, and I want to tell you about my mom, a strong and brave woman who is facing the toughest battle of her life today.

Some time ago, she was diagnosed with stomach cancer. Her stomach was completely removed, but the cancer spread to other organs. Despite everything, she told me a phrase I will never forget:

My mom cannot work and now depends entirely on care and medical treatments that are very expensive. Public hospitals are not providing the specialized attention she needs, and the costs of hospitalization, medications, and special nutrition exceed what I can cover on my own.
