I am asking for the generosity of anyone who can help with my mother’s surgery in Venezuela. She had a terrible fall down some stairs and was taken to a clinic where it was determined that she has a TOTAL HIP FRACTURE. We were only able to keep her in the clinic for a few hours since we did not have the resources to perform the surgery and all the care that this entailed. As a human being, daughter and immigrant, I appreciate any help you can give us! I do not have the means to leave the country and I cannot do so at this time. My mother is 83 years old and we know that we would all like our loved ones to be with us forever! But what we do not want is to see them suffer…. As you can imagine in Venezuela, you are only attended to if you have the money, and you have to buy all the necessary supplies. The screams of pain of my mother heard through the telephone pierced my heart and that is why I am helping everyone... Sufrió una terrible caída por unas escaleras y la llevaron a una clínica donde le diagnosticaron una fractura total de cadera. Solo pudimos mantenerla en la clínica unas horas, ya que no contábamos con los recursos para realizar la cirugía y todos los cuidados que conlleva. Como ser humano, hija e inmigrante, ¡agradezco cualquier ayuda que puedan brindarnos! No tengo los medios para salir del país y no puedo hacerlo en este momento. Mi madre tiene 83 años y sabemos que a todos nos gustaría que nuestros seres queridos estuvieran con nosotros para siempre. Pero lo que no queremos es verlos sufrir... Como se imaginarán, en Venezuela solo te atienden si tienes el dinero, y tienes que comprar todos los suministros necesarios. Los gritos de dolor de mi madre por teléfono me conmovieron profundamente, y por eso estoy ayudando a todos... Cada contribución, sin importar la cantidad, será de gran ayuda y se utilizará en su totalidad para que mi madre pueda salir adelante .
