Hi, my name is Noah and I’m creating this campaign because my cat Killua has had to undergo a fairly serious operation, and the veterinary expenses have gotten completely out of hand.

Killua is 5 years old and for some time he started having urinary problems due to crystals. At first it seemed like something that could be managed, but little by little it started to get worse.

Every time his urethra got blocked, he couldn’t urinate, and that is very dangerous for cats. We had to rush him to the vet so they could catheterize him and stabilize him.

This started happening far too often.

It was a constant source of anxiety because it kept happening again and again. There came a point where practically every month or every two months we had to go back to the emergency clinic so they could catheterize him again.

Even before the surgery, we had already had one of these emergencies, which cost €391.69, including hospitalization, sedation, treatment, and everything needed to unblock him.

After so many episodes, the vets told us that the best option to prevent it from happening again was to perform a urethrostomy, a surgery in which they create a new outlet for urine.

The surgery happened quite suddenly because he got blocked again and there weren’t many options left.

Between the operation, hospitalization, and treatments, the bill came to €1,593.14.

Including the previous emergency, the total veterinary expenses amount to €1,984.83.

The truth is, it’s a very difficult amount to cover all at once, and that’s why I’ve decided to try asking for help.

Any contribution, no matter how small, would help me enormously to cover part of these costs and allow Killua to recover peacefully after everything he’s been through.

Right now he is recovering, and I truly hope this surgery will allow him to leave all these blockages behind and live a normal life.
