My heart needs everyone to keep beating.

My name is Ambar, I am Venezuelan, and at 23 years old, I have had four heart operations and two valve prostheses, one in the pulmonary artery and the other in the aorta, which are currently leaking, causing the right ventricle to deteriorate so much that almost it is not pumping blood, causing the left ventricle to become overloaded and the left ventricle to deteriorate as well.

At my last consultation in January 2021, the doctors indicated that I deserve another emergency procedure and the budget is unattainable for my family group.

BACKGROUND
I was born with a congenital heart disease of the order Transposition of the Great Vessels of the aorta and pulmonary arteries, interventricular and interatrial septal defect and severe pulmonary stenosis.

At the first month of birth, I had the first palliative surgery by angioplasty, in the city of Caracas. Later, at 8 months of age, I underwent the second surgery at Miami Children's Hospital, because my health case was not operable in my native country, Venezuela.

After I recovered, at 9 months of age I had an invasive open-heart surgery, where they installed the first anatomical valve prostheses, which, thank God, was successful. With my growth and development, at 14 years old, I had to undergo a fourth surgery to reconstruct the bypass tunnels that supply each ventricle and change the prosthetic valves.

Currently, I live with physical limitations considered normal in a patient with heart disease.

I am a resident of Panama. I recently graduated summa cum laude from the Technological University of Panama, as a Bilingual Executive Communicator. I am a teacher, which, thank God, has allowed me to continue my medical check-ups, and when I thought I was going to start a new stage in my life, at my last consultation, the doctors at Nicklaus Children's Hospital informed me that my heart is very ill and I require an emergency operation.

With faith in God, and a heart full of hope, I turn to you, family, friends, and everyone who has the possibility in your hands, so that you please help me to cover the expenses of my operation.

I will never be able to pay the aid received, and God has witnessed the effort and good faith of so many who have supported me so far, but my heart still needs everyone to keep beating, and for every grain of sand I will be eternally grateful.

I attached the elements to verify the veracity of my testimony.
