Hi, we’re Sky’s family and we’re writing this with a heart heavier than we can put into words.

A message from Sky’s Dad, Chevy.

I’m not someone who typically asks for help but today, I truly need it.

In the early hours of June 6, my sweet girl Sky woke up vomiting. At first, her mom thought it might be something minor. But as the morning went on, she became completely lethargic and refused to eat. She was seen quickly by her vet team in the afternoon.

After X-rays, we were given heartbreaking news: Sky has a dangerous obstruction in her small bowel. We still don’t know how it happened, but what we do know is that without emergency surgery, she won’t survive.

The estimated cost for her surgery and post operative care is over $5,000. I’ve already made a deposit to begin her treatment (a screenshot will be shared), but it’s financially draining. This situation is not only overwhelming emotionally, but also financially devastating.

Sky is not just a dog. She’s my baby, my best friend, and the center of our world. She’s cherished by her mom, and her two teenage children, who adore her as their protector, playmate, and constant companion. Her presence fills our home with unconditional love, joy, and laughter. We can’t imagine our lives without her.
