Help a colleague and friend with ALS
Donation protected
Natalie is a colleague and friend who at the young age of 50 has recently been diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) also known as Lou Gehrig's disease. ALS is a nervous system disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord. ALS causes loss of muscle control and eventually ALS affects control of the muscles needed to move, speak, eat and breathe. The disease gets progressively worse over time and there is no cure.
Natalie is married with 3 kids and her family is the centre of her life. While she is still able to, Natalie wants to create memories with her family and enjoy her time with them. These funds will help her to do some "bucket list" items with them.
As there is no way to predict the speed of the progression of the disease she may also use some of these funds for additional support when needed.
Please help us to help Natalie as she navigates this difficult time in her life.
