HELP FOR LAURA

Late yesterday afternoon (April 21, 2020) God called Laura Lathem’s husband Scott home, very unexpectedly. Laura was by his side, at home, as family and medical assistants rushed to their home to attend to Scott.

Scott was just 1 month short of his 50th birthday.  Due to numerous health issues Scott had been unable to work in over a year and as a result did not have life insurance.   Further to this devastating loss, Laura received word from her sister earlier today that their Mother is being placed into hospice care in Illinois after courageously battling Pancreatic Cancer, for a year.

As many of you know Laura has been the Dahlonega Visitors Center, Manager, for almost 13 years and is currently furloughed due to Covid-19’s impact on the Tourism industry in our community.

Laura and her family have two immediate needs at this time, first your love and prayers and second some financial assistance.   When making your decision to donate,  please keep in mind that no amount is too great or too small.  Please know that anything you can do to assist Laura and her family,  will be graciously appreciated.
