We, Sarah and Ashley, have been accepted to present at the World Conference on Women's Studies. This is an exciting opportunity for us to share our research with international leaders in the Women Studies field, forge connections with interdisciplinary scholars, and participate in the global conversations surrounding the implications of gender in our changing world... and maybe get published (!!!).

Ashley will be presenting her thesis which argues that urban agricultural projects embody safe spaces for women, children, and genderqueer individuals.

Sarah will be presenting her paper discussing the age of englightenment in France and the rationalization of gender inequality.

The World Women's Conference is being hosted in Sri Lanka. As students and new professionals, it is not possible for us to pay for airfare, food, shelter and conference fees with our current income. 

We ask you to help us foray into professional academia by dropping a few dimes (or more?) into this dream fund jar.
