On April 10, 2017, Greg and Kellie received the news that Greg has a Colloid Cyst in his brain. He had been experiencing severe headaches, blurry vision, and eye pain that prompted his doctor to order an MRI. This type of cyst is very rare. Though it is benign, it could still become fatal if left untreated. As it grows, it blocks the flow of cerebral spinal fluid. Due to how rare this condition is, Greg's doctor has referred him to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He is scheduled for his first appointment there mid-May. Because of the debilitating effects of this cyst, Greg is unable to continue working as the Director of Training at Hageland Aviation in Alaska until after he has recovered from surgery. We have set up this fund to help Greg and Kellie with their daily expenses, medical expenses, and travel expenses to the Mayo Clinic.
