My name is Tiffany Cooper and I have been best friends with Jessica's sister in law Bethany Kennedy for nearly 15 years. Jessica's mother, Mrs. Sherrie, was also one of my favorite teachers in high school. I am organizing this fundraiser on their behalf.

Background:

Jess is a kind hearted, loving and generous 26 year old woman with a devotion to her family and friends like no other! Jess is also cherished in her role as a child care worker. She adores her nephew and would rather spend time with her family than anyone else!

She, her husband Tyler Daniel and her family are facing uncertainty as they search for a diagnoses during her hospitalization. A prolonged hospital stay and the mounting uncovered medical expenses is one thing we can help with to ease the burden on Jess and her family. Any money raised will be used directly to assist with any hospital and medical bills, along with any bills she is unable to cover while being out of work. Her Story:

In the fall of last year, 2021, Jess began to experience pain in her shoulder and neck muscles. After about two months of this pain, she began to have issues with her neck muscle function. By the end of December she was unable to raise and lower her head. Soon after, her chest muscles began to be affected, making deep breathing impossible.

In January of 2022 Jess was hospitalized at UAMS where they began the diagnosing process. At first, they thought Myasthenia Gravis may be the cause of her symptoms. Blood testing proved that this was not actually the case. She had to intubated and placed on a ventilator in order to help her breathe.

For 16 days Jess was unable to have any visitors in ICU. During this time, they discussed taking the vent off and trying a pressurized oxygen mask.

At this time 2/19/22 they are leaning toward a genetic condition affecting the neuromuscular system. Testing will be done to help determine if this is accurate.

With the support of her family and a dedicated medical staff, Jess will recover and be back to her happy and healthy self, but she needs your love and support to get through this tough time.
