John is a para educator and adaptive sports coach for a local Minnesota high school, where his is a much loved support person for the students he works with. Unfortunately, John has had a run in with bad luck resulting in a hospital stay, medical expenses, and the loss of his ability to work for a period of time. He will need financial support, along with prayers for his recovery to help keep him stay afloat in the areas of car payments, insurance payments, and medical expenses.
Here’s the background: Wednesday, June 25th, John woke up in excruciating pain. He went to the hospital and he had a kidney stone which was causing a blockage and an infection. The pain was terrible and John remained at Woodwinds Hospital so they can treat the pain, the infection, and whatever else because they keep finding stuff, including two more kidney stones on the other side. Just a quick update on John who is in need of prayers. They took care of the kidney stones and in two weeks they will blast them out of there. Meanwhile, they looked at his feet. John is diabetic and has neuropathy so he doesn’t realize how they are . There’s no pain. The podiatrist operated yesterday and John lost a toe on his left foot. It was more preventative since the infection was down to the bone and he will have a shorter recovery time. The other foot needed some cleaning up because of a sore on the bottom.
There are still some unknowns regarding the length of time he will remain out of work due to healing, as well as follow up appointments and other necessary follow up care.
Thank you so much!
