Help Jack Fight Cancer— Again

Donation protected
Our dear friend Jack has already overcome more in 29 years than most face in a lifetime. After surviving cancer as a child, he now finds himself confronting the unimaginable once more: he’s been diagnosed with cancer again.

As a child, Jack bravely battled Chondroblastic Osteosarcoma, an aggressive bone cancer, losing his right leg and hip in the process. Through it all, Jack showed incredible strength, resilience, and determination. He learned how to live with his new reality, found confidence through swimming in high school, and refused to let cancer define his life. Through it all, Jack kept his great sense of humor that we all know and love.

In 2016, Jack found love in what some would call a hopeless place, a local bar called Mullarkey’s. Jack was eating peanuts when a woman approached him and asked to share in his snack. That woman would become the love of his life, and eventually, his wife, Meg. They married in October of 2022, full of dreams and plans for their future.

After exploring different career paths, Jack found his true calling as an Air Traffic Controller. Jack worked tirelessly to pass the Academy and was offered a position to continue his training over 1,400 miles from their families and friends in Lubbock, Texas.

Jack and Meg always dreamed of becoming parents. In the back of their minds, they feared Jack’s childhood chemotherapy might impact their ability to conceive. Although, against all odds, Meg became pregnant, and their dreams came true when their son, Teddy, was born in March of 2025.

Just as they were settling into their new life as a family of three, Jack began feeling a familiar but unsettling pain. What he thought might be phantom pain from his amputation turned out to be something far worse: Jack has been diagnosed with Sarcoma once again, over two decades after beating cancer the first time.

Now, Jack faces this cruel disease once more—only this time, as a husband and father.

We’ve created this fundraiser to help ease the overwhelming burden of medical bills and living expenses for Jack, Meg, and baby Teddy during the hardest chapter of their lives. Any amount you can give will make a real difference. And if you're unable to contribute financially, a simple share can go a long way in spreading the word and showing support.

Thank you for standing with Jack and his family. Your kindness, love, and generosity mean more than words can say.
