MG's Top Surgery!

Hi, my name is MG and I am fundraising to help pay for my top surgery. I am nonbinary and use they/them pronouns. I have wanted top surgery for years and years. I dream of the day that I can look into the mirror and recognize a body that is my own. To feel a shirt lay flat against my chest. To stop the pain of binding every day. To no longer hate an area of my body that I should love. With top surgery, I will finally be able to feel comfortable in my own skin and be able to live confidently.

Unfortunately, insurance is extremely difficult to navigate in the nonbinary community. My insurance will not cover the cost of surgery so I am paying completely out of pocket. The money raised from this forum will be put toward my surgery and hospital expenses. I will be getting double incision top surgery with nipple grafts. I have decided to go with Dr. Garramone's office in Davie, Florida. Surgery is very expensive and I am trying my best to pay for it, but I definitely need help! I am so lucky that a surgery date opened up so soon as my date is March 2, 2023. I am so beyond grateful that I have an amazing support system around me both at home and at school. Not many people can say that.

Through the work I have done with mental health professionals, top surgery is the best option for me. My friends and family have supported me this far, but now, I need help from anyone else that is willing. Anything that you can give will help my dream come true.
