Commonwealth powerlifting Championships

Hi, my name is Eilin, and I am a powerlifter.

Scottish Powerlifting have offered me a position to represent Scotland in Bench Press at the Commonwealth Powerlifting Championships in October.

I have previously competed successfully at the British Juniors, Scottish Universities and British Universities competition, and this will be my first time competing internationally.

Powerlifting is a largely underfunded sport in this country, so despite Scottish powerlifting providing sponsors for our kits, us athletes need to pay for our travel to and from South Africa as well as our accommodation whilst there.

The overall estimate is up to around £2000 for flights and accomodation, so any donation would help me make it there.
