Goblin’s surgery fees

On the evening of December 23rd, Goblin started to act very lethargic and refused to eat. This is really out of character for him so His owner called the emergency vet. On the morning of Christmas Eve, Goblin had an emergency surgery to remove a sock he had eaten.

After 4 days of straight forward recovery he quickly rook a turn on the morning of the 29th. He refused to eat and was barely able to stand. We monitored him through the day and at 9pm he went back to the vet. He was very lethargic, his mouth was pale and cold but his vitals were all normal. He was given medicine and a plan was made to bring him back in the morning.

On the morning of the 30th Goblin went to the vet and blood work was done. He was going septic. He was started on IV antibiotics and later on was given an ultrasound. The ultrasound showed fluid building in his abdomen so he went back in for a second emergency surgery. Unfortunately, with a large amount of neurotic tissue, nothing could be done to save him. They closed him up and we held him while he was euthanized on December 30th.

His amazing owners did everything to ensure Goblin got any care he needed. Unfortunately this process hasn't been cheap.

After multiple surgeries, tests, treatments and medications we are looking for help to cover the costs. Any excess funds raised will be donated to local animal rescues.
