My name's Sky, I'm 20 years old, and as of right now, my well's broken, my sinks are leaking methane gas, my car just broke down ($3k to fix), and my mum's going into surgery in a couple of weeks with a full recovery taking up to a year.

All this, after fixing several big problems needed to keep our house functioning, has left my mum's bank account drained, with no savings and no retirement. At the rate things are going, we're likely to lose our house early next year. We're a family of 4: my 2 brothers, me, and my mum, ages 16, 20, 20, and 56(?). We all work, but now we only have 2 cars, one of which we're gonna be losing soon. I'm doing everything under the sun that I can to help keep things moving, but it's not looking good. We just don't have the money to keep going. We can only sell the house for around half its original value and we can't even sell because everyone we get an estimate from is telling us the only way anyone can buy the house is with cash because of the area, I put off going to college to help try to remedy some of our money problems, but the hole's getting deeper, and now none of us can get out. Please, every dollar helps. I just want my family to be able to be able to focus on the future without worrying about whether or not we'll have a home in a year. She's sacrificed so much to raise us since my dad's passing, and because she put her all into trying to give us the best lives she could, she doesn't have anything left to support herself. She tries to tell me everything's fine, but when we lose the second car, we're not gonna be able to handle payments because none of us will be able to consistently get to work. My mum works herself to the bone and shoulders the weight of the world. She's pushing 60, working more than 40-hour weeks just trying to keep us afloat. I hate that I need a GoFundMe. I hate asking people for money, but I really am out of options, and I'm scared. I'm only dipping my toes into adulthood and, in the same step, headed for homelessness.
