Beverly is a very hardworking mother of four, who is also the main caretaker of her mother.

Her mother recently had her right leg amputated due to an infection. She needs equipment to make their apartment more accessible. She has multiple life-saving medicines that aren’t covered by insurance.

Beverly works full-time in a self-contained classroom, pouring herself into local students. She parents her four daughters, all while meeting her mother’s complex medical needs, making trips to and from the hospital, paying for medical equipment, and trying to keep bills paid.

As a community, I hope we can rally around her and lighten her burden so that she does not have to choose between rent and medicine.
