Hello, my name is Gianni Rodriguez. I am 47 years old, a single mother of two children (one is 25 and the other is 12), and I also take care of my mother, who is in the early stages of Alzheimer's and dementia.

Today, I find myself in the difficult position of asking for financial help. Recently, after undergoing medical tests due to persistent symptoms, I received the devastating diagnosis of colon cancer. I have been informed that I need urgent surgery to treat this condition.

Ten years ago, I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer. I underwent surgery and radioactive iodine treatment and, thanks to God, I recovered. Then, in February of this year, I had to undergo a hysterectomy due to multiple fibroids. To cover those medical expenses, my eldest son and I had to take out loans that we are still repaying.

Currently, we do not own a home — we rent — and due to our financial struggles, we haven’t even been able to buy school supplies for my younger son. I’ve been trying to earn income by selling desserts and seeking donations, but everything has gone toward covering medical exams and tests.

Despite everything, I love life, and my greatest wish is to keep fighting so I can be there for my younger son and take care of my mother during her most difficult times.

That is why today I humbly ask for your support — any amount, no matter how small, would be a great help to allow me to undergo this surgery and continue the necessary treatment.
