Support Erin's Recovery Journey

My name is Dana McKenna. On March 17th, my sister Erin was at work and suffered cardiac arrest. She was revived by local police and paramedics and taken to the hospital, thankfully. But the road ahead is rough, and she is still recovering from the event three weeks later at UPMC Presbyterian and will most likely undergo another month of therapy and treatments at Mercy rehabilitation hospital in the brain injury unit to help her regain her life back.

Not only has this put her life on hold, but the lives of her family members who are constantly at the hospital and therefore not able to maintain a steady work week. Erin is not able to work and may not be able to ever go back. The medical bills will be substantial, adding to the stress of all the other events surrounding this trauma. I am setting up this GoFundMe for my sister and her family to relieve the financial burden of everything that has happened. This was a shock to all of us, being that she is in good health. A black belt in Taekwondo, she walked everywhere and had a job that is physically demanding. Nobody ever thought something like this could happen.

Erin is an amazing person who is loved by so many. Please help her if you are able.
