The inflammation you read about on Instagram captions from bloggers that eating more pineapple and celery juice will fix is the bare minimum of what Walter has faced. The stress of New York life has gotten the better of our two-year-old cat, and we had to hospitalize him to surgically remove his “urinary obstruction,” as the vet called it. This blockage is made from a build up of grit as Walter’s physiological response to stress.

And what can we do to help manage his stress besides move to a quieter apartment and possibly never take a vacation again? Honestly, we’re not really sure yet. But we can, though, spend our live’s savings to help him short term.

We’re not asking for much. We’re asking for your love, your well wishes, and maybe a little monetary help to soothe the newly deep indent in our pocket.
