Brian passed away peacefully around 5:30PM at St. Mikes Hospital surrounded by his sister, wife Fariba and daughter Ariana.
He was an incredible husband of 40 years and Fariba describes him as a person who had the biggest heart and softest touch. He was also an amazing father, a gentle and an unbelievably caring person. He will be missed terribly by family and friends.
The family will be celebrating his life at the Verity Club where Brian loved to visit waiting for Fariba to finish her meetings. Details will be forth coming.
To honor Brian's memory, in lieu flowers we thought it would be more meaningful to have a commemorative plaque placed on a bench on the far east side of the boardwalk. The Boardwalk was very special to Brian and his family. This gift is something Brian would have wanted. Our target is $1,900.
The family has set up a fund in his name for St. Michael's Hospital Medical Surgical ICU to build a family and staff lounge. All donations over and above the $1900 will be allocated to this fund.
Thank you for your support of this memorial gift to Brian and his family.
