Stand with Missy in Her Cancer Fight

Hi, my name is Debbie Kidwell and I am raising funds for my best friend Missy Trauth Bauer to help with her very large medical bills relating to her cancer treatments.

As many of you may know, Missy was diagnosed with lung cancer in 2024 and underwent a partial lung removal procedure in February. She then started radiation and chemo through July. And was deemed cancer free. During a three month MRI they detected more spots of cancer in her other lung and two spots of cancer in her brain. She was told this cancer is very rare and angry. She’s been traveling back-and-forth to Ohio State University at the request of her oncologist to see if she could enter into a clinical trial. She just went yesterday to get another biopsy as they did not have enough from the first biopsy to find what drives this cancer. She has already started radiation on the two brain tumors and then we’re waiting to see if she can get into a clinical trial at Ohio State university and or chemotherapy from Saint Elizabeth. As you can imagine two years of chemotherapy and radiation and doctor bills have become quite costly. She’s been very blessed with great friends, family, neighbors cousins bringing her food when she’s unable to cook, sending flowers to brighten her day, and many many cards and prayers from the community.

Missy is the type of person who would give anybody the shirt off her back and has time and time again. The amazing support system that she has in this community is a testament to that selflessness. I would just like to tryto raise a little money to see if we can help her out with her bills.
