Dear friends and family,

I am reaching out for your support for Julie.

My mother.

Julie has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of Lymphoma cancer.

She woke up on January 3rd thinking she had a cold and a couple of swollen glands.

She was treated with antibiotics and sent home. After a week, she woke up and knew something was really wrong. She went to the hospital and was quickly admitted and had a CAT scan. The CAT scan revealed that her chest, abdomen, and legs are completely filled with cancerous lymph nodes. The CAT scan also revealed a blood clot on her spleen. She had an echocardiogram, which revealed she has a blood clot on one of her heart valves.

Due to her heart issues, the doctors have to be careful with the type of chemo/radiation they use.

She's had several blood transfusions.

They also found she's bleeding internally.

She had a 2 and a half hour surgery yesterday to stop some of the bleeding and will have to have another one to hopefully stop the bleeding.

Julie is facing a long and difficult journey with extensive treatments, including surgeries, chemotherapy, and ongoing medical care.

The financial burden of these treatments, along with the inability to work during this time, is overwhelming. We're hoping to raise funds to cover medical expenses, treatments, daily living costs, and any unforeseeable challenges that may arise as she fights this battle.

This heartbreaking diagnosis has been a crushing blow to Julie, her family, her friends, and all who love her. Julie is facing the battle with the same strength, unwavering faith, and endless love she brings to everything she does.
